Stayed overnight as we headed East and found that for the price this motel was decent. We didn't expect much, just a god nights rest. Upon arrival the gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint we had, was that the wall heater made a ton of noise. Other than that, we had a restful night and continued on our trip.

OK- So I was a bit hesitant when I made the reservation but its what I could afford at the time and there was not alot to choose from. On arrival I was a bit pleased - the lobby was clean and looked modern - the breakfast facilities were small but clean and cozy - The room itself was a bit dissapointing. The decor was definitely out of date- I can live with that. The carpets were stained badly - even sticky in some points, I was hesitant to stay but at this point was just too tired to search for another. Woke the next morning to a family of roaches! YUCK! I had family traveling with me as well and they had the same problem in there room. The pool was dirty and hot - not a relief from a hot day - and absolutely no shade near the area so you couldn't stay long. I visit the area on occasion to visit family - next time I'll save and splurge on a better hotel.

Fridge, shower and tv - all you need.
Good size room and bathroom.
Swimming pool is also nice bonus.
Breakfast was cereals, bread, wafer and eggs.

Labor Day weekend was coming up in Truth or Consequences so we did not have much faith in finding a great place to stay, but imagine our surprise at finding such a wonderful, clean place! The people were friendly and helpful. The morning coffee was delicious. We will stay here again and recommend it to everyone who visits TorC!
