This year (2012) was our third year staying at the Taos Quality Inn for 10 days in late January - early February. Staying here has become part of our annual skiing tradition. Not only have we found the rooms clean and comfortable, but they also have great views of the beautiful mountains surrounding Taos. Each evening we enjoy the complimentary soup as we return from the slopes and, as we settle down for the evening for a night of rest, we look forward to the fine complimentary breakfast that awaits us in the dining room in the morning. The dining room is luxurious with pleasantly arranged linen on the tables, and fire places to enhance the ambience and add a warm glow to the meal. The complimentary breakfast is prepared to order and the dining room staff are pleasant and friendly while they befriend us with coffee and food, and listen to our joyful accounts of our skiing adventures and families back home. The motel manager, Raylene (pronounced Raylinn) is a jewel who took the initiative to check the records of the room we liked best in previous stays and gave us the same room to add to our enjoyment. Upon our departure my wife and Raylene shared a hug and looked forward to our hoped for return trip in the following year. To add to all of this, the rates charged for all of this service were incredibly fair and make this a very special deal indeed. We have checked out several other places in the Taos area but have decided that this is now our place of choice. Thanks to Raylene and all of the terrific staff at Taos Quality Inn.
