I booked a reservation here over the phone and was not given any information about cancelation or confirmation of anything really. The man that took my reservation had a really difficult time understanding English and screwed up the dates. I had no idea that anything had been messed up until I was headed down the highway to Socorro and the manager called and told me that he was charging me a no show fee. I told him that he had made a mistake. He offered to change the reservation, but I wanted to cancel it. He told me that he couldn't cancel the reservation and even though he had screwed up in the first place he wouldn't refund my money. This hotel was at least twice the amount at the other local hotels. I told him I wasn't going to be staying there and he said he didn't care he wouldn't cancel the reservation. I called the customer care center for Super 8 and was told that they couldn't do anything about it. He was free to charge what he wanted and they didn't have any way to recoup my money. I can't imagine that the management here would take care of the people that are staying at their overpriced hotel being they are so greedy and inflexible with travel plans. We travel A LOT and I have never run into this problem before. It is awful. I won't be staying with Super 8 anymore and probably not any of the Wyndham Resorts since I am so disgusted with the way they handled this situation.
