I stay at this motel every time we are in Santa Rosa. Always very satisfied with my room, the area is quiet, rooms are clean. We stay here because we always travel with our two small pups.
The hotel is right off the freeway, so you can get in get some rest and be back in the road.

I arrived late one afternoon after two days' drive across I-40 and was quickly checked in. Motel 6 is a "few frills" chain though amenities vary from one location to another. The room was clean, with plenty of extra towels provided, and the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The motel is just after the exit coming from the East--conveniently located and quick on/off the interstate or connecting to north/south routes. I'd happily stay here again. It's really better than average for its type, but I rated it "average" in comparion to a larger range of motel types.

Arrived very early in Santa Rosa, around 10 am, the reception checked us in with no problems. Room very clean and comfortable. And at a good price, no breakfast included, so we ate at the route 66 dinner over the road.
The highlight of the stay, was a fantastic electrical storm, during the evening. The evening porter Frank came to check we were ok. The most friendly staff we have met on our route 66 trip so far.

This is our return trip across country, and this is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in, both ways. The rooms were a little small and the shower leaked, but considering we were just sleeping, nothing I could not live with. I would recommend this motel to others needing a place to stay in the area. I don't normally fill these things out, but want other travelers to not pass over this place based on old reviews.
