Stayed there for three nights with the family in November. We had a great time, especially on our drives with Lanie. We were spoilt on our first drive as within the first hour we had seen Hippos, Elephants, Lions and Cheetahs. Subsequent drives were just as good.
Most of the drives from Wildside stayed on the lower side of the reserve, which is the larger side of the reserve. It is an "easy access" game reserve in that we did not have to search that hard to find a lot of the animals, though if they want to hide they will, especially, stragely enough. the elephants.
Friendly staff in and around the camp.
The tent/room we had was very spacious and kept clean. Only one scorpion during our stay there. You cannot wander around at night as the camp is open to animals. There was a lion wandering through the night before we arrived. While we were there a herd of Impala wandered between the tents while we were walking to reception one morning to get on the jeep.
Had a great relaxing stay here.
Make sure you take a warm jacket or jersey though, because even in early November it was cold in the mornings and evening.
