I absolutley love this place. My wife and enjoyed our stay so much. The staff Bud and Ladale are great. The rooms are very clean we have stayed in a condo and suite. Very close to the Inn of The Mountain Gods Casino. Yet far enough from town that you get wildlife strolling right through the grounds, deer, ducks and even some wild turkeys. It is a very peacefull setting and I highly recommend to anyone who is going to Ruidoso.

My wife and I have stayed there often and love it. Being on the edge of the National Forest and seeing all the beautiful wildlife was fantastic. My wife really loves the creek that flows through the property. And the Casino on the reservation was just a mile away. The rooms had a lot to offer for the price. We have recommended this place to everyone we know.

We love this place. There is new management there and they are just great, Very friendly and helpful. Our condo was very cozy with a fireplace and kitchenette. We were just down the road from the casino and close to town also. Most of all we loved the tranquil setting, nestled in the forest with ducks, deer and lots of birds to keep us entertained.

I have been planning this trip to Ruidoso for months...checking from their website I booked the hotel in oct. For our holiday starting on 26th dec. Unfortunately my 4 yr old fell ill just before the trip and we were unable to go.....I called them and initially they were very helpful telling us that they would postpone the dates .....but even after postponing the date my son wasnt well enough to travel....So I called them to ultimately cancel the holiday....As soon as I mentioned the word cancel Jeremey who was on the phone got insulting and started saying things like we were making up excuses to get back the deposit.....I know cancelling at the last moment would mean that I would have to forgo my deposit...all I wanted to know from them exactly howmuch i would be charged....and they end up accusing meof making up my son's illness to get back the money.....
After such a behaviour I will never go back to that lodge and never reccommend it to anyone.....
All a customer wants is a bit of good service and decent behaviour.
I was grateful to them for helping us postpone but didnt expect them to be so out right rude when it came to cancelling.....
