Stayed here for 2 nights and it was so nice and peaceful. Very clean. They are furnished with all the necessary kitchen appliances and dishes. They furnish firewood, firewood starters and lighters. They also furnish coffee for the coffeemakers. The grounds are very well kept. Would definitely stay here again. Very easy walk to town.

We loved it! The weather was excelent and the place is just cozy.
The bed was incredible, we fell asleep right away. And the view was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ruidoso Lodge Cabins. The location was perfect- not too far from the main street in town, but far enough to feel like you are near the mountains. The cabin we stayed in was recently renovated. The cabin included a full kitchen, living & small dining area, jacuzzi tub & wonderful bed. It was very romantic & I highly recommend choosing this location if you are a party of two!

My husband and I wanted to get away from the heat of El Paso to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed in one of the Riverside Cottages. Every morning and evening we could see the deer grazing by the river (mostly dry) from our porch. One night we counted 10 deer! It was quiet there since no kids or pets are allowed in that area of the resort. We enjoyed hearing the breeze whispering through the tree tops and it was 20 degrees cooler than El Paso, too! The cabin was nicely decorated and included a whirlpool tub and a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable, but if you're picky about your pillow, you'd better bring one. This is a great place for couples if you want some time alone in a beautiful setting! It was more than we usually spend, but it was well worth it. When we were there the forests were closed due to the dry weather conditions and fire danger. If you want to hike, be sure to check on the conditions before you make reservations.
