We were staying in town for a week so we were looking for the best value. We tried and could not beat the rate. The rooms were very big and the front desk help was very helpful. The bathroom had mold under the bath mat but the owner came and cleaned it as soon as we told him about it and offered us another room.

My wife and I are taking a long road trip, staying off the beaten path. We're trying to stay in unique, local hotels rather than the big chains. The Frontier is definitely a local place. It's kinda like a Motel Six, only dirtier. On the bright side, it was dirt cheap. I think we only paid $40 or so. The worst part was the bathroom. It was filthy. There was a ball of hair on the floor of the bathroom, the bathtub had mildew in the crevices and the toilet had one of those small round bowls, but they had installed one of the elongated toilet seats on it (as if that was going to make you believe that it was one of the fancy toilets with the elongated bowl, LOL!).

Anyway, I don't recommend the place unless you're on a very tight budget.

We found this motel on Expedia.com. I booked it because it was the cheapest one that popped up, thinking that motels are mostly the same. As long as I get a non-smoking, clean room with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. We opened the door to our non-smoking room and were blasted with the smell of smoke. This had obviously been a smoking room. We decided to fight through since it was 2 am.We got into bed realized that these were the worst pillows in the whole town. They were lumpy, but only about 1 inch thick. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy too, and the sheets were dirty. I can only hope that the brown spots were oil from the dryer. I got up in the morning to take a shower and was assulted with the smell of dank towels. The shower head was plugged with mineral buildup so it only trickled out. I continued with the shower only to have the HOT WATER RUN OUT!! What a joke! We went to check out and were told that they couldn't refund us for the night we had stayed (obviously) or the next night because we didn'g give them a 24 hour notice.Their ad on Expedia shows that pets are allowed, but they don't tell you that there is a $10 per night per pet charge. I am disputing all charges. BEWARE!! Don't stay here if you want clean and comfortable!

The only people giving positive reviews on this place must be the owners. It was disgustingly hideous and we all slept in our clothes. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
