This motel is an older structure, nothing fancy, but it's been maintained and it's clean. The manager was outgoing and helpful.
Our room had two double beds, a small TV, no refrigerator, bare bones. Each room has a dedicated parking spot. We were warned to remove all food items from the car because black bears come into the neighborhood during the night, but, unfortunately, we didn't hear or see any ;-).
Walk to the little historic downtown 3 blocks over and read about the Italian immigrant who ran the mercantile shop there. We watched passengers board the the Amtrak bound for Chicago. Expect fast food options in town.
I recommend this place for an overnight stay if you don't need but a bed and shower and quiet. I have no complaints about this place for what it is.
