We have stayed her three times. Here is part of the reason we 'book' a room on every trip east or west on I 10. I had booked a room here for Dec. 5, 2011. We had seen a sign along I 10 (heading east) saying it was closed due to snow. The closing was at Lordsburg, NM. We arrived at Days Inn around 6:30 PM. There were more than 20 people in the lobby. When my turn came at the desk, I presented our reservation # and was immediately given the room key. The other person at the desk announced that all the rooms in Lordsburg were full. They were in the process of trying to verify which reservation could be given away due to the Interstate being closed @ Las Cruces. Everyone was warm and friendly.
When morning came, the staff kept everyone informed as to the highway condition and when it would open. They left breakfast out until 11AM.
All in all, their staff did a wonderful job handling 'stranded folk' in a caring way. We will always choose to stay here on future trips.
