Summary:

Typical Days Inn. It's a decent place to stay for a single night on the way through Lordsburg.

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was reasonably furnished. The internet worked fine.

The breakfast was typical, but with highly sweetened orange drink instead of real orange juice, a major negative in my book. Otherwise it was cereal and apples and yogurt and bread and bagels/rolls. They did have hard-boiled eggs, a bonus in my book.

The TV remote didn't work and the clerk asked us to come to the office to get new batteries. After we did that, the emote still didn't work, so she brought us a different one.

The hotel is in between the highway and a railroad.

Ask for the side of the hotel AWAY from the railroad, and turn on your room fan so that the highway traffic noise won't wake you up.

Our room is 120, toward the back. Rest. next store is closed so plenty of parking. The room is well furnished, but not highly inviting. Refrig & Micro. Lots of room in toi, infact hard to reach either of the paper dispensors. Sink is outside toi. Thin towels makes supply inadequate. Nice table and two chairs to have our take out pizza. Noise travels thru hall and rooms well. good hot water. Train and freeway noise. Likely the second worst bed of our 18 motel stays on this trip. dog barking limited given the number staying.
Good price, includes breakfast and marginable sleepable...we were beat.

This is a somewhat depressing motel in an extremely depressing town. (It literally appears that more businesses are closed than are still in operation.)

The room we were given was adequate, as was the included breakfast. The pool was closed; I have a feeling that this is a longstanding situation. The staff was neither helpful nor friendly. The surrounding area is essentially deserted and the attached restaurant is out-of-business. The nearby trains may bother some sleepers.

If you can't avoid staying in Lordsburg, I'd suggest trying to find a happier motel than this Day's Inn.

We stayed one night here after winning a low bid on priceline for a hotel in Lordsburg. It's nothing fancy but it was cheap and clean. The staff was great also.....my blow dryer wasn't working the next morning when I was getting ready and someone brought a brand new one in less than 10 minutes!
