Older but remodeled motel. Very good rate, nice service and well-appointed room. Very clean, good bed frig and comfortable furnishings.

Room was clean, close to the highway, and cheap. Good for an overnight on a long drive on I-10 West.

I was pleasantly surprised when we stayed here at the end of November, 2011 that it seemed to have been recently renovated. Beautiful stone-look tiles in the bathroom, new carpet and bedding, etc. One of my criteria for judging a motel/hotel is the type of shower head and this motel had a wonderful, powerful, adjustable one--however the water was not very hot. Despite its location next to the freeway, we could hear no traffic noise and had a good night's sleep. We did not have any animals with us, and booked directly, and did not have any special expectations, but in our brief dealing with the front desk, we had courteous and friendly service, so I was surprised at the negative reviews, mostly apparently based on special needs.

My wife and I drove for about 16 hours, got in at 4 am and got a room here, we got a few hours sleep, woke up, I went to the office and asked where a laundry matt is and the guy at the office said the motel had one and there was one around the corner. I went to use the one at the motel...it was locked, I mentioned to him that it was locked, it never got unlocked, so I went to the laundrymatt around the corner after putting the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. When we got home the office called and said the maintanance man went into our room and saw our cat. Why was the maintanance guy in our room while we were gone with the sign on the door. All our things were in the room including $1,700.00 of our traveling money. they told us we had to leave because we have a cat...I told the lady when we checked in we had a cat. The bottom line here is...there is no privacy at this motel, we were lucky our money was still there. dont go out to dinner or leave for any reason, they will go into your room.
