$40 dollars a night....who can beat it! Clean and pleasant accomodations. Owners are friendly. Thanks

Things are much as presented by the other commenters. We arrived in Las Vegas while travelling north on I-25 and drove around for a bit sizing up the various places. I think we settled on the Regal since it was pet friendly, didn't look busy and had wi fi; a very scientific method of motel selection.

The room was fine. There was a little grassy patch to take the dog to. We didn't bother with brekky since the wife wanted to do Subway.

For the price, you get what you would expect. The rooms were relatively clean but could have been cleaner. We had a pet and so were put in one of their "pet-friendly" rooms. I understand why they'd do this -- they don't want their whole motel trashed by people with animals who pee and poop without regard to the motel property. But nevertheless when we went in our dog began to go crazy smelling things, so it was obvious that other animals had been there before. We would have hoped that since we had to pay $10 extra to have a pet they would use the extra money to do an extra thorough cleaning job after pets and their owners leave.

The breakfast was fine and the motel management were courteous. Overall, I'm happy that we stayed here instead of paying $40 extra to stay at a chain that would have only been nominally cleaner and nicer. Still, a little better job keeping the room cleaner (and the grounds too, for that matter) would have been nice.

Better than most "budget" chain motels (I won't list their names -- you know which they are), and much less expensive. The room was pretty sizable and included a little table and two chairs -- I really like that. There was also a little fridge & a microwave. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I stressed to the proprietor that I needed a no-smoking room because I had asthma -- he told me if I had problems to come back and he'd give me another room (the room I started with was fine). Two very, very minor complaints -- the room was very dark. I know other folks generally like softer lighting than I do so that might not be a problem for most people. The other could be a problem for anyone with knee problems: the toilet seemed somewhat low. I think I noticed it more than I would have otherwise because I'm recovering from a knee issue. Bottom line: I'd stay there again, no doubt about it. Additional: If you're sick of the world being taken over by nameless, faceless, unaccountable, uncaring corporations, here's a chance to take a break from that action -- these folks care about their business and treat their customers accordingly.
