I think this motel is making the transition to a Knights Inn.The office was empty but after ringing a bell, the manager appeared quickly. Sheila was very nice and efficient. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. The coffee, microwave and refrigerator in the room were also very appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable and seemed to be fairly new. They also have recently updated and painted outside. The motel is located on a main road, so there is some road noise especially in the morning. ?The Continental breakfast was toast, coffee, milk, juice pastries, and muffins. It wasn't huge but very good. The only 2 negative thoughts we had were: the ice is stored in a small unplugged freezer and it looked as if they put a few cubes onto the frozen chunk from a home freezer. It didn't appear very enticing. Also,it would take only a few moments to clean up the trash in the parking lot and in front of the units. This would add to motel's overall appearance.
We ate at Pancho's Roadhouse Cafe which shares the parking lot. We got the combo meal #3 to go and brought it back to the room. The food was delicious and moderately priced. I would recommend it if you wanted to try some Mexican, New Mexican food.
We would stop in again. The price is a very good value.
