The Red Roof is a recently renovated property. The room we had was very nice, modern lamps, comfortable beds, a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was OK but more of a snack. The staff was fine. That was the good. The bad concerns the location of the property. All night long we heard trains rumbling through. The building vibrates with the trains passing. Apparently this is the BNSF main line and they don't let any rust get on those rails. Fortunately, the honking of the train horn is done at the east end of town, so that was not an issue. Also, outside our room was a parking area for semis. In the morning, they would start up and motors would idle for a long time which limited sleeping time. In the future I would request a room on the right side of the building on the front as the trains are at the rear.

We found this hotel in one of the hotel coupon travel books. We chose it because of the price and location which was conventiently located right off Hwy 40, so we were not really expecting much. It was later in the evening so we could not really tell much from the outside, but once we entered the room, we were so surprised! It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, great amenties (frig, microwave, computer desk and plugins). The bedding was nice and clean (turned down comforter with crisp pillow cases) and so was the bathroom. The next morning we had a small, but nice continental breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We got a nice pull-up room on 1st floor. It had coffee maker, microwave, fridge (no freezer). The Internet had wired/wireless option and worked very well. As for noise from trains, no big deal, and every place in town is near the tracks. Nice wrap around computer desk that can be used for both PC and dinner table. Nice touch. We liked it so much we signed up with Red Roof for other stays. Maybe not the best location in town but we wanted a 1st floor smoking King and they had it. Exterior corridoors. Just typical continetal brkfst. Comfy place for overnight or more.

stopped here on the way to grand canyon. nice clean motel. nice amenities. desk staff very business like, not friendly, just veryproficient. had a downstairs non smokong room on the west side. the parking was full, went out to eat and had to park a long way from our room when we got back. only real complaint was that you could here every step that was taken iin the room above us. ceiling really creaked and cracked. all in all a good experience, would stay here again
