Stayed here two nites end of July 2006. A/C died in first room but had to "search" half dozen other "non smoking" rooms to find one that (1) hadn't been used by smokers or (2) had a working A/C. Room we finally settled for (because I didn't want to go hotel shopping at midnight) was free of smoke and A/C worked but door wouldn't latch closed, toilet had black ring around bowl at the water level, faucet aerators were missing from virtually all room lavatories (water splashes on you), etc. The wireless internet signal from the hotel next door was 10x stronger so I logged onto it. The folks at the desk were courteous and as helpful as they could be . . . but their maintenance and non-smoking enforcement policies leave much to be desired. The Super 8 in Santa Fe was 1000% better!
