My father and I were driving from TX to CO. We decided half way point was Clovis, NM. All of the hotels in Clovis are along the train. I know many people comment on it. Honestly, I had ear plugs and didn't hear them at all. This Hampton Inn actually provides ear plugs for their guest. The hotel is extremely clean. It has a pool, workout room, a desk top computer available for guest use, free WiFi, and a warm extended breakfast. The bathroom had plenty of fresh towel and a granted counter top. Beds have white comforter and are extremely comfortable. Clean is the main word that comes to my mind when I think of the hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is like most Hampton Inns but after a long day of driving it hit the spot. If we are back in the area we will for sure be staying here again.

First off, let me say I have slept through a hurricane. Really. Also, I grew up with train tracks in my back yard. I had no issues with the noise. :)

You can tell the staff here goes above and beyond to compensate for their location (which is not the staffs' fault btw). My room was very clean as were the common areas. The breakfast was well stocked and ready before 6 which was appreciated. I was very pleased overall with my stay and would def stay here again.

We had a wedding to attend in the area and stayed at the Hampton Inn. The staff were all friendly and engaging. The breakfast was quite ample with a lot of options (yogurt, fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs).

Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying there and would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you use your computer for work - the internet is barely faster than dial-up. Major train traffic just across the street, whistle at nearby crossing and engine noise about every 15 minutes all day and all night.
