My husband, grown daughter and I recently stayed one night in the Sun Room and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Quiet, private setting, beautifully appointed and comfortable room, with a lovely private porch to enjoy the shooting stars on. The breakfast was excellent. Griffin the cat visited with us several times during our stay. We enjoyed talking with Belinda and look forward to our move to the wild west soon.

The guest rooms are lovely and the setting is beautiful. The location is perfect for getting around Northern and Central New Mexico. The food was delicious. We will be staying again as soon as we can.

We spent Christmas here and had a wonderful time. The snow was beautiful providing a White Christmas. Chimayo is half way between Santa Fe and Taos, allowing you to enjoy the attractions of both towns without much driving. The people are very helpful and friendly while their breakfast is excellent. We look forward to returning and absolutely would recommend this place to our friends.

From easy check-in, to check-out, there was not one negative thing about staying at Casa Escondida. We found the staff to be very accomodating and friendly, the bed comfy with down comforter and great mattress. There was a woodstove in case of cold, a fan, windows with good screens, it was quiet and peaceful, everything we needed was tended to. The food was great! Homecooked breakfasts like pancakes and sausage and fresh fruit, homemade banana bread, greenchile casserole, eggs florentine...I get hungry thinking about it.
The grounds are lovely, and there is a big bird-feeding platform in back to enjoy the various birds of the area each morning while having breakfast in the sunny porch.
We appreciate all the special touches, and will go back and stay again!
