We stayed for 3 nights. The staff are great, friendly and personal. The last day we were there I found a roach crawling on the bed. We changed rooms. I see another reviewer also mentioned roaches in August.

First let me preface this. I do not expect extravagance at the price I am willing to pay for a place to sleep and that is all a hotel is for me. I am gone early and return late. In that regard this place is fine despite some highway noise that I sleep through.
Two things however, there is no excuse to run out of coffee in the a/m! I have stayed several times for six days at a time and this happens far too often. Second, do not advertise WIFI when it never seems to work well if at all. I did complain about the coffee issue once and they send a nice letter with a 10% discount. On checkin I found out the discount only applies when booking through them, not Orbitz. That would have negated any discount!

Whether attending the Albuquerque Winefest, or stopping over on our way to Chaco Canyon, this hotel was perfect. Rooms were fine - nothing special, but we were not planning to spend much time in the rooms. Clean and well appointed. What was special was the price ($67 AARP rate) and the location - not to mention the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good - nice selection of fruits, breads and pastries and cereals, as well as sausage bisquits. Good coffee, plenty of juices and yogurts.

I was at this hotel on 8-5-'11 and while I was sleeping a cockroach was crawling on the right side of my mouth. Scared the s..t out of me. That was at 01:45. I wasn't able to get back to sleep until sunrise.I called the front desk & he apologized and then he called back saying he could put me in another room. I declined that offer, figured there was bugs in that room too. I also didn't feel like packing at 2am. I asked the front desk if I could check out at 12pm and get a wake up call for 11am. The guy said I would have to call down and request that AT 8AM!! I checked out at 11am. They took $20 off the bill. Big woop. Management has my number. No calls BEFORE 10am pacific time.
