“YT's - a comfortable, family owned and operated guesthouse”

YT's was our home during our stay in the Punakha Valley and it was very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay for 2 nights. The owner, YT, greeted our group with a bottle of whiskey for the table upon arrival and joined us for dinner. He is a former forrester and a genial host. The property has avacado trees and we enjoyed the fruits of these trees at our meals! Our room, located below the dining room was room and comfortable. Bathrooms were basic but functional. Food took a while to come out of the kitchen but was good and plentiful when it came. Service very friendly.

The rooms in YT are basic, but clean and functional. What I like about this hotel is the warm people who are running it. The hotel is managed by a family and they are very warm and kind.
The food is very good because the lady of the house cooks it herself.
The staff is very helpful and the all experience is like staying with friends. To me this is the best place to stay in Wangdi or Punakha.
