We stayed here for the last leg of our trip through Vietnam. The price was a lot more than we had been paying but presumed this was due to the Island location. Must have been as the room wasn't anything more than in other places, there was even a blood stain on the light switch, not ours! Location for beach etc was good. Breakfast could have been ok, but we inevitably got one and not the other. How hard is it to bring out 2 drinkS and 2 rolls with something for 1 table at the same time? Apparently very! The staff were generally rude, and there was not really any rush to get your breakfast once you chased it up. However the icing on the cake was check-out. Apparently there was only 2 towels left instead of 4, 'yes thats right as your staff didn't replace them all yesterday' we said. 'Well why didn't you tell us.' 'Well it wasn't a problem for us.' 'No you must have left it on the beach or something?' or as she also implied stole them! We were confronted with a stony faced lady that then walked off and wouldn't discuss further. Due to the fact that we had a flight, and she wouldn't acknowledge us, we reluctantly agreed to pay for something that we never had. Then we got ripped off. About £10.00 for 1 big towel and a small one, they definately weren't that new and I pay less here! So angry. First review because of this. Also don't rely to much on their Wi-fi as it was often down.

Great location on the beach, but no price value. If you absolutely have to stay there, and if you have $ 75 to spend per night, try one of the beach front bungalows. We stayed there for three nights (because we booked in advance) before moving to another place. If you are in a good mood you might have a good time studying the wonderfully uninterested and incredibly slow staff at the boring and almost empty restaurant while you wait for your not very good food.... When we were there in january 2012, the place were partly a construction site as they were adding a third floor on the hotel.

Loved the island, liked the location, but have to agree with the reviews below. Many staff speaking to each other, but poor service within the hotel and the worst breakfast we encountered anywhere in the country. Restaurant was very poor and expensive so was not used by anyone.
Poor maintenance so problems with shower and door lock.
Although paying to have beach cottage, we could not get sun lounger as others put their towels on them very early. Extremely annoying that beds were empty most of the day. The staff on the beach were pleasant, unlike in the hotel i.e. the security staff, masseuse and those selling day trips.

The only good thing about this place is the location. It's close to "town" and very close to many restaurants. The access to the beach is great.
The rest, oh well, the rest is pretty much bad. Rooms are a plain OK, but the cleaning staff do not to the job very well, actually not well at all. They go inside, make the beds, change the towels and that's it.
The ladies at the reception are kind of rude. Not helpful at all. Always trying to make you pay more than you should.
Breakfast is simply horrible. The worst breakfast without a doubt in our 1 month stay in south east Asia.
Do not stay here, pick some places better (and cheaper).
