Quite a surprise! Anantara was fabulous. Great for those who like spacious rooms - had a wonderful beach view with a jacuzzi in the balcony - inspired decor, enough space for everything - and I do carry lots of luggage... Just fantastic to relax and enjoy!

Service was correct, attentive when needed.

Not crowded, and other guests were also small families, chic couples...

Overall great place, would come back.

Located right on the beach front over the road from gado-gado restaurant. Its in a great location and has the most beautiful pool that looks out over the beach. A lovely grassy area to lay on the lounges and not get hassled by beach hagglers - But if you want them just step onto the beach and shop away!
We stayed in an ocean view room - well worth it! Amazing views and beautiful - very spacious room! One of the most comfortable beds We have ever stayed in! And your own private balcony with spa.
The staff were very lovely.
Make sure to head up to the rooftop bar for a sunset drink!

My family just returned from a one week stay in Bali and we couldn't recommend the Anantara Seminyak highly enough. What we loved most were the delicious and healthy breakfasts, served a la carte in addition to buffet, all included in the cost; the gym was brilliant (which it is not in most hotels); the staff were all amazing - so attentive and helpful; and the lovely rooms. The SOS bar was mind-blowing - one of the best bars in Bali overlooking the beach. And when my eldest son got Bali Belly the staff could not be more helpful - first with getting a doctor then with tea and toast deliveries. We would definitely stay there again.

No stranger to Bali, or Seminyak, I have wanted to trial the Anantara since its construction a number of years ago.

Unfortunately the surrounding area is falling victim to the pressures of increasing tourism and traffic, but you'd never know it tucked away at the Anantara. One of the only hotels in the area which is truly a beachfront property, the Anantara offers everything you'd want from a 5 star resort but in an intimate environment. The rooms are substantial in size and we simply couldn't find fault with them.

The service is exquisite and attentive, but not intrusive.

The breakfast (which was included in our rate) was delicious and entirely accommodating of any dietary request.

We simply could not find fault here (and believe me, we are hard to please).

We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Tip: it's ALL about an ocean view room.
