After a grueling day (shopping) decided to stop for wine and an appetizer around sundown. My salmon tartare was good and creatively served - paper thin pastry was used as cones and each of the three cones was filled with creme fraiche topped with salmon. My first glass of wine was less than half full. The second glass I ordered was brought over by fhe assistant operation manager, Diego, who brought a healthier looking glass of wine and just came to see if all was fine. Nicely done! It is this kind of attention and service that gives a place the extra edge.
The view of the Indian Ocean was splendid and the breeze enticing. There were kids playing
"futebol", others walking their dog, and couples and families walking the beach with the backdrop of a lovely albeit cloudy sunset. The SOS terrace includes sofas, chairs and tall tables with stools. There is an inside and outside dinng area. Good music on the speakers.
I will just need to come back for a full meal next time.
I will be backnfor dinner
