My family and I (husband, 3 kids, parents, grandparents) love the Olympic. It is a family owned, family run motel and diner. The rooms are clean. It's pretty quiet. The view is awesome. The pool is very nice. Some other reviews on here refer to smells, rust, doors not opeing properly... Listen people, this motel is old, as are all the motels in jersey. If you stay in the Crest, then you know what to expect. If you stay at the Olympic then you expect friendly, clean, fun. If you have a concern, just voice it. It will be handled right away. Don't even waste your time looking elsewhere, just count on a pleasant stay here.

it's what you get out of Wildwood, the average. The hotel rooms are clean, and the workers are friendly. But, The rooms aren't 'top notch.' I guess you could say, mediocre? Kids will have a great time in the pool, considering that this is one of the only hotels with a diving board, (along with the Attache.) So, that is a plus. I would recommend this for a family fun resort, but it definitely, isn't a top pick.

As soon as we walked in the door I knew it was just going to be downhill. I opened up the cabinets to find dirty dishes! When I walked in the bathroom the shower curtain was basically all rusty, the shower and toilet were some tacky dark blue color (Yuck). My friend and I pulled out the bed in the couch to find that it was hard as a rock so we couldn't sleep there. So we ended up sleeping on the bed (not under the covers, because there was nasty little blood stains on the sheets). Just as we thought it couldn't get any worse the people staying in the room next to us decided to cook something with onions and the smell just overpowered our whole room! All of us had to sit outside for a while until it aired out. Overall I would recommend you not to stay here it is very unsanitary.

We stayed at this hotel for the annual Elks convention. Many of the rooms enable you to see the ocean. There is a park across the street so you are not on top of another hotel.

As some others had mentioned – parking is extremely tight. I did expensive damage to my large SUV trying to turn to get into a tiny spot by a pole. There just isn’t any room & it’s worse if you try to park under the building.

The rooms have a table, pull out sofa bed, full sized refrigerator, a microwave & 2 burners. The full sized ‘fridge & full sized freezer for ice were great to have. There are 2 BBQ grills on site. They have a back sleeping area with a door. The closet is just a space with a hanging bar. The beds are old and the mattresses worn; do not expect a comfy night’s sleep.

The pool is raised so people walking by can’t see you.

For the Elks Convention it was fine. A group of 20 something’s can probably cram 8 people in the room & have lots of $$ for partying. As we were leaving a group of seniors was checking in.

The owners were just lovely but they don’t take credit cards – cash only. I’m not sure about checks but I got the impression that had to be cleared in advance. They also make you pay a deposit for the TV remote control. If you return the remote, they give you your money back.
