We stayed in a two room on the 3rd floor ocean front. The view was amazing. The beds were a bit small two double beds, I couldn't find a room with larger beds though. The prices were great. I loved the living room area. Very roomy. I didn't try the stove or microwave but the fridge worked good. The room was very clean. The room is a little outdated such as older tvs and the stove a little rusty on the bottom, key locks, etc. The shower was great lots of pressure and roomy. It was perfect for our stay! We went for the monster truck weekend. Rates were only $100/night including breakfast. Wow excellent! The pool was very nice and warm. Loved the distance to the ocean. Right on the bike trail. We took our bikes and cruised up and down the boardwalk. Hotel has a bike rack. The breakfast deal was great. We tried all the restaurants. We loved the Adventurer and the Wakiki ocean front dining. Agua beach cafe was over crowded and a rip off ($3.00 for a child's glass of milk).

My family of four, plus two of our children's friends stayed at the Water's edge over labor day weekend. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, and couldn't have been more pleased! The apartment was outstanding, and quite possibly the best room on the island! 2 bedrooms with 2 queen bed in each were very comfortable, and having 2 full bathrooms was a plus! The full kitchen was a very nice surprise. Most of the motel rooms in Wildwood Crest have only a stove, fridge and microwave, while the water's edge had a oven, and dishwasher. The balcony was great, a nice place to sit after a long day at either the pool or beach, or for a cocktail after a night on the boards.The sliders on the balcony were nice, and the A/C wasn't needed most nights due to the wonderful breeze.

A very nice touch to this motel was the assigned parking spaces! It was nice to come back after a long night out and not have to worry about finding a parking space.

The pool area was a bit smaller than other motels we have stayed at, but was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice sundeck as well, and since there wasn't a lot of chairs around the pool this was great.

While I only spoke to the people at the front desk at check in and check out, they were pleasant and willing to answer any questions.

We had a enjoyable stay, and are looking into staying here for our weeks stay next summer!

so we stayed a few days in sept 2011...perfect time for the beach because everyone is back at work & school. the cleaning folks are super nice and personable, the location is good if you like being close to the boardwalk...our first room was on floor 2 and it was a dump...the sliding glass door opened to common area, which wouldnt be a problem if the door locked. the metal rod was even too short to keep the door closed. in addition there was a rainforest of water coming from the ceiling air conditioner...we moved too 4th room floor with private balcony the next day which was an improvement--sliding door lock didnt matter...there was still a rainforest of ceiling water coming from the air conditioner, the beds are painful, and the room is just extremely out dated. i definitely would not stay here if i was a single female.

We stayed at waters edge the last week in August. We actually arrived the Monday after hurricane Irene had hit the island. The hotel staff were simply amazing from the front desk all the way down to the maids. We originally were supposed to be on the 4th floor but were switched to the 3rd because of some chaos left by Irene. The room was a little dated, but overall clean. The ocean front view was amazing. While the room was quoted to have a private ocean front balcony i felt like it was soo close to the 2nd floor sun deck that everyone was always in our business, so maybe a higher floor would be better! The ice cream shop out front "Crazy Cones" was the best ice cream we found during our stay!. The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to everything, the beach, the boardwalk, a park for the kids, and a bike rental! What more could you want! Not sure if we will be back next year, not because we didn't love it but simply because we are interested in seeing what other hotels have to offer!
