My six year old son and I were walking down the roads site seeing and my son needed to go potty really bad, number 2. Well I asked the front desk and they said they don't have a bathroom. I said it was an emergency and this is a hotel...come on! The lady yells at me and my son "what do you want me to do...we don't have a bathroom for you. Get out!" How heartless can someone be?!?! I will never recommend anyone I know to go there now.

My family travelled to Wildwood Crest last September. We stayed at the Regal Plaza. As we arrived in Wildwood so did a major tropical storm! Wildwood was flooded, it rained for 7 days and was so windy that it was hard to breathe outside the motel room. We brought our 2 sons, 3yrs. and 9 months. Imagine being stuck in a motel for 7 days with 2 small active boys! The room we stayed in was great! Clean, and well kept. Our microwave stopped working one day and the management immediately repaired it for us! They even offered us the use of another room while they were working on it (it only took a second to repair!). They management kept giving us free childrens movies to keep our kids occupied during the STORM week! As we were getting ready to check out the staff told us it was going to clear up the next day and offered us a free nights stay becuase we really had no outside time at the beach!! We love the accomodation, cleanliness and helpfullness of the Regal Plaza. We will be back in the summer!

i was petrified after i booked my stay here and read some of these reviews...but this place wasn't nearly as bad as these reviews make it out to be. first of all, for the price, the value is great. we paid about 115 bucks a night for an ocean front (not ocean view) room with a nice balcony. the place is literally on the beach, location couldn't be much better. it's a quiet place. room was decent. the only complaint we had was some noise coming from the air conditioning, but it wasn't bad. they have a decent restaurant with good breakfast. you can't come here and expect the ritz carlton, but for 115 bucks a night on labor day weekend in the WWC/Cape May Area, you aren't going to do much better. the other hotels in the area looked awful. we were surprisingly pleased...just keep your expectations reasonable.

This place is a DUMP. DO NOT STAY HERE if you expect a clean, nice room and helpful, nice service. Rooms are disgusting, place is FALLING apart, staff is RUDE and nasty. Air conditioning broke and they could care less. DO NOT STAY HERE.
