we have gone to this place for 3 years now and are planning on going again june 13 this year of 2011, honestly cant wait , out of all 3 stays we had we have never had any disapointments, the furniture was pretty comfortable and it was kept pretty clean the pool was clean and has a great ocean front view, the air conditioning has always worked well and we have always have fun, i liked to sit out on the lounge chairs at night to relax and listen to the crashing of the waves on the beach, every year we stayed in a two room eficency, everything worked and we had no problems what so ever, guess some people got unlucky and things didnt go as planned because of some minor technical diffaculties but overall this is a great place to stay :)

Oceanfront. They have a queen size pull out couch in living room and a queen size bed, plus a single bed in a separate bedroom. It is also an efficiency. It is not luxurious, but neither are most of the older hotels in Wildwood Crest and it is clean enough. The pool is a reasonable size with plenty of lounge chairs, but no diving board or slide anymore. The owner is not particularly kind but you don't see him much and the front desk woman is nice. The breakfast and lunch take out menu from their restaurant is good. Two negatives for this year were that the cable television channels have been reduced drastically. Not good for a boring night or a bad weather day. The other is that pipes have been extended into the ocean throughout the beach and sadly two sets are fairly close to this hotel. So, we looked at the prices of other motels and found this one still offers us the most for our money so will be going back again for probably our 20th visit.

My six year old son and I were walking down the roads site seeing and my son needed to go potty really bad, number 2. Well I asked the front desk and they said they don't have a bathroom. I said it was an emergency and this is a hotel...come on! The lady yells at me and my son "what do you want me to do...we don't have a bathroom for you. Get out!" How heartless can someone be?!?! I will never recommend anyone I know to go there now.

My family travelled to Wildwood Crest last September. We stayed at the Regal Plaza. As we arrived in Wildwood so did a major tropical storm! Wildwood was flooded, it rained for 7 days and was so windy that it was hard to breathe outside the motel room. We brought our 2 sons, 3yrs. and 9 months. Imagine being stuck in a motel for 7 days with 2 small active boys! The room we stayed in was great! Clean, and well kept. Our microwave stopped working one day and the management immediately repaired it for us! They even offered us the use of another room while they were working on it (it only took a second to repair!). They management kept giving us free childrens movies to keep our kids occupied during the STORM week! As we were getting ready to check out the staff told us it was going to clear up the next day and offered us a free nights stay becuase we really had no outside time at the beach!! We love the accomodation, cleanliness and helpfullness of the Regal Plaza. We will be back in the summer!
