“High quality condos in a safe, convenient location - ideal for families”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2010

This was our first visit to the Cape May/Wildwood area. Luckily a last minute condo rental was available at Seapointe. It is conveniently located in Diamond Beach between Wildwood and Cape May, close to several attractions in the area. It is a gated community with resort-like facilities that cater to families - large and small. The condo was big and well-maintained with expansive view of the ocean, we felt very much at home. The beach is clean, we were lucky to see several dolphins in the wild swimming very close the shore. They have several swimming pools that are clean and fun. The rental was on the expensive side, but was really worth it all.

“Great as always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2010

Been staying at Seapointe since roughly 1988. Rooms are great, staff is great. Yes it is expensive, but if you place value on beautiful grounds, private beach, nice, clean rooms, and 4 pools on the grounds (one of which is indoors), than this is a must stay place.

“Heaven away from home!”

Been going to Seapointe Village most summers since my oldest was 3. She is now 18. Can't say enough good things about Seapointe. Only bad thing is if you don't rent in advance, the pickings are slim as we are finding right now as we redirect our vacation plans.
It's expensive, but worth every penny. We've stayed in condos and townhouses - in Pinnacle, Garden, Centre Court, and Townhouses now that we take grandparents. Some are sharper than others, but all very clean and well-equipped. It's been the perfect place for our kids - now ages 12-18. The pools are phenomenal! The landscaping is out-of-this-world! The amenities - tennis, basketball, bocce, kids' crafts, etc - always something to do. We like the gated community aspect because you feel safe allowing your kids to roam w/ very little traffic.
Wildwood Crest is a great peaceful town - perfect for bike or surrey riding. Our favorite places - the Fish Factory, the Ravioli House, Carini's Ristorante and Pizzeria (just out the back entrance of Seapointe), the Lobster House in nearby Cape May, and our favorite WaWa market (also out the back entrance) where you can get Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream! Wildwood proper - just up the road - is noisy but always entertaining, too.

“Garden 214 was a perfect home to vacation in!”

We have been vacationing at Seapointe for several years. This time we requested the Garden building and stayed in apt. #214 which was a clean, nicely decorated two bedroom home. It had a private walk out to the Gardens pool and an extra large terrace. The home was nicely furnished and had several LCD TV'S and a DVD player. We loved the the fact that this unit was pool side which made it very safe and convient given the fact that our children and their grandparents were able to go to the pool without going into an elevator or walking through the lobby. The home had a king bed in the master and a jacuzzi in the master bath. A very lovely, clean, nicely decorated home to stay at. We will request Garden 214 again as it is one of the nicest we have stayed at while vacationing at Seapointe.

“Back home, more or less”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2009

We are former owners of a unit in the South building, owning it from construction to 2005. We had the opportunity to re-visit Seapointe in June and were really pleased to see how well the development is standing up.

First, the last major biuilding (Ibis) has been completed since we sold. It is a design not to my liking, and doesn't really fit in with the other buidings, but it seems to please those who bought or rent there. It also houses the realtor/management office and a small gift shop.

Since its inception, Seapointe has spared no expense or effort in maintaining the grounds and landscaping. It is as beautiful and clean as it has been since its inception.

As to the rooms, bear in mind that all rental units are individually decorated by the owners. While there are minimum requirements as to furnishings and equipment, the variety and quality will vary by unit. Thankfully, most rental owners maintain there units very well, at least if they are renting through Seapointe. All units have full kitchens and washer/dryers, but n o maidn service. You can order a mid-week cleaning if you want to pay the extra fee.

A short comment on the review by Dogfan. It is made very clear by Seapointe that there is no maid service. After all, this is a condo rental, not a hotel. Also, how does he or she know people were gossiping about him or her? We found all the personnel at Seapointe to be polite and helpful, so his or her comments are highly suspicious.
