My girlfriend and I stayed here the last week of July for our first vacation together. This B&B could not have been more perfect for us. The couple that runs the place met us when we arrived, and allowed us to check in 2 hours early. The house is located 2.5 blocks from the Wildwood beach, which is free (no tags required). Parking is available on grass lots either across the street or next door. The breakfasts, served from 9-10am, were phenomenal and made fresh to order each morning. The dining room, along with the rest of the building, is very beautiful and ornate. The actual rooms are a bit on the small side, but this was clearly stated on their website. Still, our room (Rm. 8) had a full bed, bathroom, window A/C, television, and mini-fridge/freezer. The owners were always very helpful with restaurant selection. They even had menus for many of the places, so you could see if you wanted to eat there. We went to Oyster Beach Restaurant on our second night there, and we each got a free glass of wine with a drink coupon the owners had given us. Overall, I could not be more pleased with Holly Beach B&B.

After paying $350/night at check-in, the "Inn-keepers" said about my autistic nephew that they only allow "well behaved children." Would love to tell Bob what to do with those trains...

We booked a double room, but the room and the bed was so tiny that we had to upgrade to a bigger room for quite some extra money. The bigger room has the same tiny bathroom which makes it virtually impossible to move inside the shower. The air conditioner had a broken know. The breakfast (usually a highlight in a B&B) was served and contained most of the time canned fruits, very unusal in the summer season. The time for breakfast was restricted to 30 min (from 9 am to 9:30). Also unusal, it was forbidden to take the breakfast upstair (we had a need to do so, due to a business call). We also missed some typical breakfast like cerials and yoghurt. People who dont like cats should chose another one, because you can smell it easily.

Perfect getaway for my husband and I, first timers to Wildwood. The owners were attentive and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable (we had a deluxe suite with King bed). Small bathroom, but it was private and big enough for us to shower in. We also met and spoke with some very nice guests staying at the B&B along with us. Sure the rooms may be smaller than expected, but it is an older home to begin with, you can only renovate so much. My husband and I would stay again and plan to. It is about 2 and 1/2 blocks to the boardwalk and you can walk to almost all the restauraunts and entertainment venues in the vicinity of Wildwood. Good comedy club at the corner as well. Good parking situation as well.
