I was reading these reviews and have yet to come across one that i disagree with. I stayed at this hotel last summer and it was a complete disaster then. We were told it was $100 a night to stay but when we got there the price magically jumped to $135. We gave a $50 deposit which we were told would be refunded to us when we returned the key the day we left. When we tried to return the key the absolutely RUDE owner said she didn't remember us paying!!!! Thank god I found my reciept.....she was so ridiculous and seemed pissed that I actually kept my reciept.

When we opened the door to our room all you could smell was old damp urine. The stains covering the floors and walls were terrifying. I wore flip flops everywhere in that room, including the shower becase i was disgusted by everything. I barely spent time in this motel. I would have rather slept outside.

Basically you have a better chance sleeping next to a dumpster...it's just about the same experience as this place....

Don't even attempt swimming in the pool...god only knows what creatures live inside the water.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS.....ALTHOUGH THIS MOTEL IS CHEAP....IT IS NOT WORTH IT AND WILL SERIOUSLY PUT A HUGE DAMPER ON YOUR VACATION!!!

Wildwoods is great...Eden Roc is the DUMPS

We stayed across the street from the Eden Roc and had many problems with the owner "Mikki". My husband was taking pictures of the beach and she yelled at him calling him and a**hole several time in front of children (1,2, and 31/2 year old). She continued to shout profanity and call us "sick people" for watching her and taking pictures of her (which we were not doing). She called the police on us for taking pictures of her and her property (which we were not doing). All week she gave us dirty looks and spit at us from behind the lattice which she hid behind. By the last day we were fed up and called the police on her, who said that they get many complaintes about her and her motel which is INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! The place is a dump and I am sure will be closed down soon. Do yourself a favor and stay across the street. You can get a show and stay in a very nice condo.

This place is a disaster!!!! Don't even think about staying there....it's dirty, there are ants all over the place, lights don't work, toilet doesn't flush....practically it looks like it's about to fall apart. But the worse is the owner!!! such a b***h....she was complainig about water splashing out of the pool! When we stayed there she was knocking on our door in the morning to check how many people were in the room!!! I hope nobody is ever gonna go there and she'll lose the motel!!! it doesn't worth it to stay there, i wouldn't even stay in that ugly motel for free, even if i would get paid to stay there, that's how bad it is....TRUST ME!!!!

my boyfriend and i and his brother and his brothers wife and there daughter and there younger brother all stayed at the Eden Rock Motel and it was a HELL HOLE !!!!!!! first off the website says its 75 dollars a night which its not its 85 and it also says they accept visa or master cards but they dont when you get there a mexican lady tells you that is cash only plus she wants a 40 dollar deposit for the romote for the television ALL CASH!!!! the website also offers a gas grill and ice machine , the gas grill is a community gas grill that has never been cleaned and as far as ice well the machine is not plugged in it also offers maid service every day which there is not and when you open the door to your room it smells like mold and urine and is filthy to say the least the microvave and refrigerators are not plugged in and are dirty dont bring food to make because you will just end up throwing it out especially when you start to see the ants crawling around everywere its discusting . the carpets are nasty there are stains all over them you dont want to walk around barefoot even in your room plus the beds are suppose to be 2 queen size and you get 2 twin size you are lucky to fit small children in them and you have to lay them on top of the blankets in fear that they might catch something from just sleeping under the blankets that are dirty and never washed now the bathrooms are the worst the tiles on the floor are moldy and are loose and never saw a mop since they have been there and there are ants all over the sinks the bathtubs are scary they are dirty and the shower curtain had a used bandaid hanging from it and forget about the towels they give you enough for 1 person and they have dried in blood stains on them and when you ask for other towels the manager says they dont have anymore !!!!! the toilets leak all over we thought there was a flood in our bathroom we actually had to go by lysol sanitizer wipes just to be able to sit on the toilet or even touch the door knobs to open the doors there are no curtains in the bathroom and the window is broken so anyone can break in at anytime it is not a safe place to stay infact i dont know how they are up to code on anything the smoke detectors dont work half the lights in the rooms have broken bulbs and dont work its filthy and when you try to complain the manager gets rude she is a horrible person and basically doesnt want to hear it plus there are cops there all the time for the unsatisfactory of customers complaining about the astablishment and dont plan on sleeping with the rude people parting and running back and forth all night slamming doors and the 4am beer pong they like to play outside were everyone can hear them !!!!!! i would not recomend this place to anyone please read the reviews before going here its well worth paying a little extra money for your personal safety and cleanliness this place may be a little cheaper than everywere else but there are reasons for it !!!!! id rather stay under the board walk than ever return back to the EDEN ROCK MOTEL !!!! please dont take the reviews lightly they are all true it is the worst place to stay and its not safe!!!!!! if you go there ask to see the rooms first before you give her money you will change your mind and leave and she never charges the same price she makes up prices what ever she feels like charging thats what you pay even though the website says differently!!!!!!! my family and friends will never return to the EDEN ROCK it should be knocked down and made into a parking lot it needs to be inspected by a health inspecter that doesnt take money to keep quiet because there is no way this place passes any code!!!!!!PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!
