I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights and was a bit worried at first as some reviews were quiet bad. I found it to be clean and staff were friendly.
I was there attending a Zumba course (offsite) so really did not spend that much time in the room, but although this is not a 5 star hotel, I found it just perfect for what I needed.
One funny thing was the shower. I'm 5'2" and I found the shower head was short! My friend staying with me was very tall and she didn't complain but I can see it could be a bit of a problem washing your hair if you are very tall!
Also when I made a reservation with Expedia it told me I had free continental breakfast but the hotel does not offer it. just complimentary coffee.
Overall I was very satisfied!

My husband and I just spent the weekend in Toms River, NJ at the Holiday Inn and had a wonderful experience. The General Manager and her front desk staff ensured an extremely pleasurable stay with complimentary breakfast coupons added. The room was perfect and very clean and comfortable! Our daughter was also had her wedding reception at the Holiday Inn and the service and food was amazing! Their weekend breakfast buffet was delicious with a nice variety of items. This is truly one of the best hotel experiences we have had and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the south jersey area. It is very convenient to shopping and restaurants and also close to Seaside Heights boardwalk. Our advise is to give this Hotel a try and you will be happy that you did! :)

Stayed here on a trip up to visit family. Greeted warmly by the front desk on arrival. Room was spacious and clean. If staying on the weekend take a room off the parking lot. They hold weddings on the weekkend and not all people that leave in the later hours are quite. Still had a great night sleep.

Although this Holiday Inn Express is not new, it is well-run. Courteous staff, in particular the desk manager Jennifer Schel, who had to deal with many demanding clients during my 5-night stay. Their restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast, with first-class service. I chose this hotel over its competitor down the road upon my daughter's suggestion. Am so gald I did.
