Don't bother staying here, drive to the next town to find a hotel. We had a family emergency and needed to get a hotel in a hurry, and the other local hotels were booked. If we had known what we were in for, we would have stayed several towns over to avoid this place. The only reason this place is #1 is because there are no others.
We checked in late on a Thursday and went straight to bed. The bed felt itchy that night, but we were tired. The next morning we saw the bed was dirty and the coverlet had a hunk of someone's hair on it. We asked the front desk to make sure the entire bed was changed, and (optimistically) we left a tip for the housekeeper. When we came back in the late afternoon, the front desk called our room and asked if the room was acceptable. We saw the coverlet still had hair on it. The housekeeping staff was dispatched to our room and the linens were changed.
After that night the bed was fine, but then the towels were a problem for the rest of the stay. One day we might get a washcloth for each of us, but not a hand towel. The front desk delivered towels to us when we complained, but were unable to satisfy us, and told us to see a manager the next day. Some kind of service right?
Other drawbacks to this hotel/ and our stay as follows:
We requested a fridge when we made our reservations to store medicine in. When we got to our room there was no fridge and one had to be brought up. (So it was not cold when we got there.) Over the next day we found out that the fridge could not be set to a reasonable temp, all of our stuff froze and we had to throw it out. (Luckily we had moved the medicine to a family members fridge.)
The bathroom is like your parents 1970’s bathroom, with pink 4X4 tile, with bad self-repairs where leaks occurred.
The furniture in the room is standard dorm room issue.
The towels, when you can get them, are old and rough, and often have someone else’s hair.
They do provide free breakfast, but it is substandard too.
Thanks to the free wi-fi I was able to write this review before I checked out.
FYI: This hotel is located on Rt 22, which is a busy, divided highway. It is noisy, and cut off from EVERYTHING else.
Take head and avoid this place.
