We stayed here for just 1 night. The room was clean & comfortable. The room included a stove, fridge, and microwave. Clean all around. The hotel has a laundry room with a small pantry, and exercise room.

Not very clean hotel. Halls not clean, carpet not clean, room kitchen area not very clean. Had to wash glasses before use - one was even broken. Basically had to do some cleaning in the room as soon as we checked in. I believe this is due to the fact that they only clean the rooms once a week & with kitchens they tend to get pretty well-used. The place just seemed dreary & in need of a good coat of paint as well as carpet cleaning. Also, furniture not laid out well if more than one person staying in the room - can only get out of the bed on one side. Front desk staff very friendly. Good value if you don't mind doing your own cleaning & making your own bed every day. Very slow internet with not good signal. I'd feel cleaner & safer somewhere else.

I've been here a week now as I wait for my apartment to be ready. Its great here. First, I won a bid on Priceline and got a great deal (think what you would pay for a really cheap motel). The room is large, the bed is nice and if you don't like feather pillows they have foam ones you can ask for. Nice kitchen area with a stove top, dishwasher, sink, full size fridge, toaster, and all the pots n pans etc you need to cook. The bathroom is huge and they have nice quality towels (nicer than Ive gotten at some Hyatts, Holiday Inns etc). TV has a ton of stations including 4 HBO channels. There is good free internet, free laundry room, free coffee, a gym area thats open 24/7, and fresh baked COOKIES at the front desk. Its location is great-near alot of places to eat and close to Rutgers. The staff are really friendly.

Stay for two weeks in Aug 2010. We chose Candlewood suites after reading on tripadvisor about it. Great staff, room was nice and clean. Quiet location (no street noise) despite Interstate beeing really close. 15 min to NJT New Brunswick station by car. Neighbourhood: stripmall with restaurants, other hotels. Felt always safe there, parking lot well lit. Free washer and dryer are a plus. Great value.
