Don't expect anything, its definately for budget travellers. Room was fairly clean... but if you're not staying for an extended stay then you don't get housekeeping (as it is done weekly) and you have to get towels, shampoos, hair dryers from downstairs on your own. The shower is totally low-flow which sucks. The staff were nice. The kitchen is decent, as there is a microwave, oven, stove, sink, fridge, pots/pans, and some dishes. Oh, and make sure they give you an unoccupied room! They gave us the key to someone else's room which was not so great.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in April. We had stayed here twice before in 2004 and 2005, but never again. We were on the third floor where there was awful cooking and body odors. We saw many dirty, smelly construction workers who were also rowdy and noisy. Rooms OK, but if you want to mingle with these roughnecks and smell their body odors, then stay here. Further, one morning, while looking for something in my trunk, a fat lady on the second floor looked out the window and threw some insults at me about me and my car....with racial overtones. I checked out one hour later and went to the new Comfort Suites for our final two nights, which was WONDERFUL. Don't stay here.

Well I do a lot of traveling in my profession,and have stayed in many hotels along the way.So I'd cosider myself truly seasoned in this thing we call hotel experience. To keep it short and sweet,the excellent service was provided by an extremely nice gentleman Bryan Hoey.He is an assistant manager,who was acting manager at the time of my stay.The way this person extended himself was truly professional,and in my opinion sincere.Not only to myself but to other guests as well.On more than one occasion I saw this person interact with many diferent people in a manner the was nothing less than 5 star.From the cleanliness of the rooms,down to the excellence of their fine management team,I'd give extended stay america a tremendous thumbs up.And by the way I'm a lawyer.

I stayed there for only 2 nights in June 2003, because I had a flooding event in my condo (I live only 2 miles away from the hotel). The rooms were fine, but a day after I checked out and into another hotel, I realized I had left my $20 teapot there. Well, I figured, no problem, I'll just go back to the front desk and they'll surely have it somewhere waiting for me. Well, I went there, and I was informed that no other customers had used the room since I checked out 2 days previously, and that it should be there. I walked to the room and some employee was cleaning it out at the time. For some bizarre reason she wouldn't even let me into the room to retrieve it she insisted to find it herself and closed the door on me while she looked. She opened the door after only a few seconds(definitely not enough time to check the kitchen thoroughly) and reported it wasn't there. So then I asked if there was a lost and found, and (with a very unfriendly tone) she said yes and led me to the lost and found room. Of course, she acted just as defensively there, closing the door behind her and refusing to let me in and, in the same way, rudely informed me that it was not there. I said how do you know, I didn't even give you a description of it. She said simply it was not there. Strange how a teapot would disappear from a hotel so quickly and inexplicably. I then wrote an email to Extended Stayamerica corporate about this issue. I wasn't even afforded the courtesy of a reply.

So that was my "lovely" experience at that unfortunate excuse for a hotel. I will never stay at another Extended Stayamerica or any of their affiliate hotels ever again.
