We rented a spacious, two bedroom suite. This was our 2nd trip to this hotel in six months. Our first stay during the summer was very good so we decided to return. There are numerous hotels in this area but this one has the largest suites for the cheapest price. On this trip, the cheap price was reflected in the quality of our stay. Our room was not clean when we arrived. There were disgusting pellets of food (potentially vomit or remnants of a rodent) under the couch. We did not ask to change rooms when we discovered it because our kids were already asleep. The bathrooms were covered with hair on the floor and in the tub (disgusting). At approximately 8:15 in the morning, there was a knock at the door. Housekeeping had arrived and wanted to know when we were leaving! We were shocked because check-out wasn't until 11 AM and it was very early to be knocking on doors. About a half hour later, there was a jiggle of the door handle (this hotel is set up like a motel and the door leads directly to the outside). Our two young kids were terrified. My husband went to the door and there was a man outside with a hotel uniform on asking AGAIN when we would be leaving! It was unbelievable. Wide awake at this point, we ambled down to the free buffet to find that the food had not been replenished at all. There were no bagels left and very few muffins or pastries. This was a 9 AM on a Saturday morning. Overall, not a great stay but one positive is that it was very cheap!
