Location – less than a mile from the Lincoln Tunnel, you really can’t find a hotel closer and on more of a straight shot right into Manhattan. It’s a little crazy getting in from the highway(s) as far as the exit ramps, but there are plenty of signs (small, but they’re there).
Staff / Service – Always friendly and accommodating. They aren’t going to get any perfect “10”s, but pleasant and helpful for sure.
Layout / Decor – Run of the mill rooms for a Hilton, but the lobby is clean and inviting, with ample lounging areas.
Cleanliness – Well maintained throughout.
Room – Standard, no frills business-type accommodations.
Shower/Bath/Bathroom – The bathroom was plain, and the shower was adequate, while not overwhelming with water pressure (sad to say).
Noise – Very little noise, especially for the are the hotel is in.
Parking – Some spaces in front, but the majority in a deck about 200 feet from the entrance

Linens – Comfy and well maintained. Thick enough to be adequate, but not what you might get at a Crown Plaza, for example.
Furniture – Pretty close to Hampton Inn level. Basic and functional, but nothing fancy.
Room Extras – Nothing out of the ordinary.
Closet Space - The usual sliding door double closet.
Lighting – Desk and walls.
View – Secaucus.
Elevators – Slow. Slow. Slow.
Ice / Vending – Standard, convenient.
Check In – Quick and easy.
Extended Checkout – We didn’t ask.
Room Tip: first floor is best. the elevators are soooooooooooooooo slow.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to post your review of our Hilton Garden Inn. We will be sure to share your comments with our staff members. One of the comments we always focus on is cleanliness so thank you for noting that. On a recent Hilton Inspection our Housekeeping Department received 100% on cleanliness for the fourth time in a row so we are very proud of their efforts. We had not received any comments on the elevators but we did have a day in December where we took one of the elevators offline for repair so we will have the elevator company check them.
We hope to see you again on your next trip to our area and hope you have a great new year.
