We stayed there last week with a group of students touring NYC. The hotel claims to have a pool, jacuzzi, pop machines, ice machines, washer and dryer... well, they do, but none of them work. the pool was drained and had weeds growing in it, the pop machines were empty, ice machines broken; the "workout facility" was a broken down treadmill stuck in a storage room, the rooms were very worn. And the elevators didn't work, yet we were placed on the 8th floor. the staff was overwhelmed, like they had never had 30 people stay at once. And a train track run through the parking lot of the hotel, so we listened to that every hour all night long. the only good point was the wonderful restaurant that had a great buffet breakfast every morning and a courteous staff. it was like walking into a separate facility from the dump of a hotel.

This past weekend we stayed at this hotel after a wedding reception. The bride and groom had a suite and the groom had his bags dropped off in the afternoon (physically placed in the suite by a family member.) When the bridal party and other guests returned to the hotel after the reception, the groom's suitcases were missing. The front desk was not helpful at all (multiple attempts to contact "on call" manager with no response.) "Security" conveniently disappeared when the police where called and a report was filed. The bags turned up the next morning in another room (not a wedding guest.) It is obvious that the bags were taken from the bridal suite in the hopes that money, jewelry, etc would be found.

BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL! ESPECIALLY FOR AFTER A WEDDING! IF YOU DO, LEAVE YOU GIFT ENVELOPES, ETC AT HOME IN A SAFE PLACE!!!

This hotel is in sad need of repair.Our room should not have been rented to anyone.The bathtub was not fit to be used and the bathroom was dirty.The staff was fine.They served us a very nice meal for supper .Breakfast was ok.They could use a few more toastersThe mattress was very good but the bedding could be better and cleaner.The elevator really should be reaired asap

DON'T GO HERE!!!
I took a group of 26 students here - 10 students had money stolen out of 7 rooms.
The hotel staff were dreadful -not remotely bothered about the thefts and very rude.
The local police, did however, treat it very seriously.
