I felt compelled to write this reveiw as I was beyond disappointed with the management of this property. I was trying to book a group stay for 17 rooms, 4 nights for June 2012. I left 4 voicemails for the Sales Manager over the course of a few weeks and never receive a return call, I became frustrated and then left 3 for the General manager NOT ONE REPLY. I then left messages with the Front Desk to have the manager contact me and voiced my displeasure with the lack of service I had received thus far. Yes at this point I felt I should have walked away but the hotel is in the area we require for our hockey trip and I was told by a local it was a good spot. The manager finally called me back and to my surprise was extremely rude right off the bat.

Our booking was to be from Sunday night to Thursday morning check out, slower days at most hotels as I can attest to with my proffession being a Hotel General Manager. I was told curtly that they could not take our group even though there is availibility.Then she said, sure but you will have to pay the "rack rate" of $129 which was higher than advertized on 3 websites (who all take a portion of the booking and the hotel receives less than the posted price). I stated that it is advertized for $108 elsewhere and she proceeded to argue with me that it wasn't. I then asked to talk to her Regional Manager or owner as I was dissatified with her attitude. I am an easy going person and was flabberghasted at what I had to tolerate from this woman. She reffered me to Hampton corporate office whom I called. They told me 2 weeks ago someone would return my call in 3 days, probably the same hotel manager.

I did fax the pricing to the GM at $108 to prove to her she was lying, I then noticed the next day the same property had increased to $122 for the same dates.... INTERESTING! To date no one has contacted me and I will advise anyone trying to book a group and give this hotel $8000 just look elsewhere. WHAT A JOKE!
