My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in May. Horrible place to stay! Upon check-in, we had to go through 5 hotel rooms before we found one that semi met our standards. Two of them smelled of smoke when we had requested non smoking, one had a clogged sink and a funny odor in the room and another one smelled like body odor. The 5th one we settled on had a strong new carpet smell from the renovations but we were able to open the windows to try to diffuse the situation. The only nice thing was the girl at the front desk. She profusely apologized for the situation and honestly, we had never in our lives had to go through this many hotel changes in the first hour of checking in! We were about 3 hours from home and would have driven there and cancelled this reservation had we known how bad the conditions would be but we tried to make the best of it. It just made us feel dirty staying there.
We thought all would be saved by the thought of a "free" hot breakfast. The next morning we went down to the breakfast room which had dark red walls and dark wood decor which was very odd and made you feel like you were in a dungeon and that this hotel must be used as a pickup joint for singles. The breakfast was terrible - things were not stored properly as the eggs looked slimey and uncooked and the sausage wasn't fully cooked. We settled on a bagel as that was the safest choice. We sat down to eat and in the dining room they had a full screen tv with the news on but no sound but they did have disco type music blasting so loud you could barely hold a conversation. All this at 9:00 in the morning! What a joke.
I would absolutely never stay here again and would never recommend this to anyone.
