My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights between Christmas and New Year's. Everything was on par with other Embassy Suites experiences, although NJ law makes the manager's reception kind of a bummer (only one drink per person per day, obtained by coupon given at check-in) and the snacks were only basic (goldfish, pretzels, popcorn). Some Embassy Suites actually have hot items, but I'm thinking that is more the exception than the rule. Still, the room was very clean and everything worked (although the tub didn't drain well - we never bothered to report it since it wasn't that bad). The fitness center was also clean and crisp looking. Breakfast was thorough, as all Embassy Suites breakfasts are. A big step up from the "express" and "comfort" offerings (which I have no problem with). The staff were all pleasant and professional, especially the staff clearing the tables at breakfast. The omelet guy was a little gruff the first two mornings, but he warmed up the last few mornings. Actually a bit of a character more than anything. I grew up in NJ and this was a visit home (thus I feel qualified to make the super-friendly wisecrack). This will be our go-to hotel for all future trips "home" should visits continue to be like this one. Price paid was extremely fair for the area and an excellent value. Very convenient to I-287, thus US 1, NJ Turnpike, Rt 18 and Rutgers. We had several friends stop in to spend some time with us at the hotel, and they all commented on how nice the place was, especially the atrium. Still hate that Embassy charges extra for in-room wifi, but I express that displeasure to them in every post-stay survey. I can live with stopping at the business center on my way up and down to check email, etc. It was just fine to use, printed boarding passes no problem, that sort of thing. Thanks Embassy Piscataway for helping to make our long overdue vacation/trip home very comfortable and enjoyable!
