Overall the hotel was very good although one night at 3:00 am the phone rang with no answer. It rang again just after I had drifted back to sleep and again no answer the third ring the front desk girl, Jennifer, asked if we could turn down the TV. As I don't watch TV while I sleep there was nothing to turn down. She told me she had sent security to the door to listen but I was latter informed by the manager that in fact she was the only person working. The rate was great as it was obtained through priceline. The manager gave us free breakfast and extended our checkout but she didn't seem overly keen to deal with the complaint as I needed to call back to get her response after she had "investigated" the situation.

The breakfast was typical buffet style and was neither remarkably good nor bad. It is very well situated to NYC but you do need to absorb daily parking costs, but you get that with any NYC hotel as parking is rarely included.

The hotel is two storeys but does not have an elevator so if you have really heavy luggage or lot of it make sure you ask for a first floor room. The rooms were niceky appointed and the beds were comfortable. I got it on a bid for about $85.00 - that was a very fair value as it was New Years weekend.

I've stayed as several Crown Plaza hotels and have to warn you that this hotel is not typical. It is an older building and the rooms haven't been updated. The hotel staff is very kind but make a lot of mistakes with the invoice and special requests (although the only special request I had was a refrigerator... three weeks before I arrived). The breakfast buffet was good and, again, the breakfast area hosts were kind. The hotel was quiet and you could walk to the mall if you like to shop. The onsite restaurant was very good and prompt. I just didn't think the room was worth the rate.

We chose this hotel because it is near to Woodbury Premium Outlet and also NYC. Check-in was efficient and fast, given a complimentary goodie bag (due to our Platinum Priority Club status), and we were given an upgraded room along the quiet "arm" of the hotel. The beds were really great, nice pillows and very clean bathroom. Great location, we slept very well, besides Macy's, etc, and also very nice restaurants nearby (Pimaan Thai Restaurant!). Not forgetting the safe parking (free), complimentary breakfast and free wifi. We will return when we returned to the area.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to NYC. It was close to good restaurants and excellent shopping. The staff was so helpful in making sure our trip was a success, they offerred suggestions on parking in the city ($12) for the DAY!! The only reason I didnt rate this 5 stars is because (1) the parking is terrible here. The parking lot is on the edge of a mall parking lot (you can walk to (MACYS) and they have no security. (2) To unload our luggage was a hassle because they cater to the business man. We had luggage for a week of unpredictable fall weather and you have to roll the cart up a very steep incline. Other than that the breakfast that was included in our particular stay was worth it with a good assortment of fresh cooked eggs and meats, fruit, yogurt and pastries. The rooms were clean although the toilets were tiny. I would stay here again.

My son left his camera in our room and they mailed it to us!!! how awesome is that??
