This was a wonderful experience. The hosts were terrific. The room was beautifu (we stayed in the Magnolia Room). The free bikes were old but servicable. The location was fine.

John and Marj were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make our first visit to Ocean City a truly memorable and welcoming one! The house is an amazing building itself with so much character and the room was beautiful! Breakfasts were delicious and just the right amount during a heat wave! Their poodle, Harry, was adorable too!

We were looking for the perfect weekend getaway from NYC and the Northwood Inn delivered on all fronts. The inn was easy to get to and wonderfully quaint, Marj and John were tremendously gracious, and the food was delicious. We particularly loved the opportunity to use the free bikes to ride around on the Boardwalk in the mornings and through the historic downtown strip in the afternoons. The free beach tags made accessing the beach a breeze, and the free beach chairs made it very relaxing. Coming home to the jacuzzi on the roof at night (where you can watch the sun set or the ferris wheel lit up at night) was very memorable, and though we had the smallest room, it was still the perfect size. In all, there is nothing more I could have asked for from the Northwood Inn, nothing I would change, and every reason for us to recommend it to friends and family, alike.

What more could you want: bikes, beach tags, towels, and chairs, fresh baked goods and lots of choices for breakfast, warm hospitality by Marj and John, friendly support from their terrific assistants and a deli right down the street on the way to the beach! The inn itself is a great home, the rooms well-appointed, and in an unbeatable location. We will be back!
