There was nothing wrong with this motel, but for 100$ a night, I have seen better motels in Canada and the USA. The lady at the front desk told me that Lloydminister city is an oil town. Most motels/hotels are full on most nights, so they can charge the big price. This was one of the cheapest option in town.

The room was nice- two beds in the rear and a sofabed out in the living area. The microwave was fully functional and the burners worked well enough to make pasta and reheat meatballs. The carpet was alittle damp but I'm sure plenty of vacationers have had wet feet on it all summer. I liked the family feel of the motel and the clothes line for towels/swimsuits out back. We would have liked cable TV in the rear bedroom but then again you are steps from the boardwalk, rides, and beach in a very nice area. I didn't mind the lights out at 11pm since we didn't get in from the boardwalk until late anyway. It helped the kids to realize it's bed time plus it kept the less tasteful groups get a clue that it was time for quiet while kids are sleeping. The pool was clean and the 'maids' were friendly. We would have liked the pool open later but otherwise enjoyed our vacation!

If you are looking for a hotel whereby the entire exterior lights are shut off at 11pm, that the pools water isn't clear, that the breakers shut off a minimum of 2-3 times a day, that the air vents are so dirty that it can't be healthy you breathing this stuff, that basically the sun deck is reserved primarily for room 33 and the rest of the members of the hotel are stuck to the balcony's, that their idea of a "full size kitchen" consists of a small counter and 2 burners and even at that don't turn on the microwave and the burners at the same time because the breaker will jump, that you had to use 2 cans of air freshener to have the room smelling "ok", that the owner promises she will take care of things and it never got done and never offered a rebate, that if you're expecting to enjoy yourself at pool side until 7- 8 p.m. like other hotels it doesn't happen because it closes at 6 p.m....Then this is the right hotel for you ! Oh by the way...atleast the maid service was good ... and it is most definitely over priced for what your getting .... Oh ! anddddd "C'EST LA MARDE" !!!!

this hotel is the worst place i have stayed in my life. The owner is very rude and whines a lot. The rooms smelll like old nannis. the condo is smaller than my room. the seats are from 1920.the kitchen is really small. u cant use the burners and the microwave at the same time.the onle good part about this place waas the beds werent that bad annd the maid service were ok. oh and did i mention that they close the lights at 11, guesse they dont want us to realise how dirty there pool water is.
