We enjoyed our stay this month at the Candlelight Inn, and we agree with most of the positive comments. A couple of negatives, though. We thought the cleanliness was a bit less than desired. Our room had white doors and all were quite dirty, especially around the doorknobs, from dirty hands. Also, the deck area around the hot tub was in some disrepair and the boards needed refinishing. Finally, the back yard needed to have the fall litter picked up. The owners were quite pleasant. Note that the breakfast is a rather formal sitdown affair at a large table and takes about 45 minutes with two seatings.

We had a great time at the Candlelight Inn. There were a ton of small things that we really enjoyed ie. Bath robes, slippers, Sherry, chocolates, and many others that to us we little bonuses. The Inn keepers were very nice and this was are first stay at a B&B but wont be are last.

Attention to all little details were certainly present at this North Wildwood B&B. A full breakfast consisted of a spice baked apple in orange juice, cranberry and nut muffins and a choice of pumpkin pancakes or omelet with sausage, all delicious. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were decorated lovely and contained little extras such as ipod docking stations, sherry and special chocolates. Although we went in the off season we are looking forward to returning when summer returns to the Jersey Shore.

My wife and I shared a memorable weekend with two of my sisters and their husbands at the Candlelight Inn in North Wildwood, NJ. It was the first time we vacationed together and also our first time staying at a B&B. The weekend was more enjoyable than we anticipated. Our days would start off being served a delicious breakfast that we selected the previous day.We ate around a large table where we got to know some of the other guests and shared great conversations. During idle hours of the day, the wrap around porch was ideal for relaxing, reading or surfing the internet with their free wireless access. The inn has a generous selection of books to select from as well as a large selection of DVDs. Menus of local dining establishments which are recommended by the inn, provide assurance you will have a good dining experience. Each day at around 4:00, homemade cookies are available in the foyer as well as complimentary wine. You can also expect to feel the comforting warmth of their gas fireplace and electric heaters within this inn. The innkeepers, Bill and Nancy Moncrief, are exceptional hosts who know how to provide an exceptional experience for their guests. In additional to all the comforts within the inn, a large outdoor hot tub is available for your use. During the cool evenings we stayed warm under the stars while in the hot tub. At the end of the evening, we enjoyed a great night sleep on a very comfortable mattress. I highly recommend this B&B to all people who deserve to be happy and feel special.
