We stayed in this hotel for our last night in the U.S before flying back to Europe. I cannot recommend this place at all. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation and refurbishment. It was like coming into a building site with paint cans and construction materials scattered all over the place. The stairs and hallways were dirty and it was extremely dusty due to the construction work - we were glad that none of us are allergic, that would have been a catastrophe. The room we got was completely refurbished and seemed very nice at first. However, it turned out that there was not much that worked. The great modern flat-screen TV on the wall had only one channel and the room's air-conditioning lived a life of its own... . We needed to check our flight booking, but there was no guest computer in the reception. The staff in the reception promised they could help us with what we needed from their own computer. But when two of the staff members had spent about fifteen minutes to just get out on the internet (they said that they happened to have a slow connection that day) and the queue of waiting guests lined up, we withdrew our request.

My son and I needed a place to stay while passing through so we decided to use an Expedia voucher on this (we never did get to use it, but that's Expedia's fault). (I do have to say that the young guy who helped us check in was very helpful and courteous to us.) It was late and we checked it, the first room was one of the remodeled ones and looked fine until we noticed ants all over the walls, bed-board and carpet. We asked for another room and were given the one next door- only saw one ant the whole time. My 6 year old took a long time to fall asleep because he was afraid bugs would crawl on him :) The bathroom wasn't too bad except for some hair in the tub.

The whole hotel is under construction which seriously detracts from the atmosphere of the place. The clientele seemed to be mostly people passing through, I didn't see other families or kids. The swimming pools seem to be permanently closed. I wouldn't even consider the non-refurbished rooms. The flat-screen cable TV had lots of channels, but it cut out in the morning and couldn't get much; maybe that was Comcast's fault.
The continental breakfast was very simple- bagels, cereal and Little Debbie snacks but it worked. The breakfast area, however, was a mess- nearly everything from drawers to pitchers to cupboards to bagel containers was broken or taped together (see picture). Not that I really care, but it shows me that the owner/manager doesn't care either.

Bottom line; this is a just place to sleep but I wish I had saved my $50 and stayed in the car. I never really felt clean or comfortable there.

Unsafe property, unsavory people lingering all around, the most disgusting dive I have ever seen. I checked in and turned around and checked out. The hotel then charged my credit card 3 times the amount of the room, over $300.00!!!

Stay somewhere else, anywhere else. I'd sleep in my car before I ever check in there again.

When I previewed this hotel online at Orbitz the place actually looked clean and very welcoming. We were in the area only for one night because we help some friends move from one state to the other. As we approached the lobby we seen that there was a group of people hanging around drinking and smoking marijuana. The manager was not friendly and could hardly speak any English at all. We had to use our room key to be let in to the hallway which lead to our room. Walking down this hallway the first 8 rooms seemed to be "under construction". In our room itself the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the sliding glass door would not shut, the bathroom was disgusting..(tub had hair all over it, the sink did not properly run right and the tiolet poured water out from the side after being flushed). There was only one light that actually worked in the whole room itself. We had 3 "visitors" knock on our door..all of which we did not know of course. But non of it compares to the fact that we literally heard a woman (prostitute) get the crap beat out of her by her man (pimp). The walls were paper thin so we heard the woman screaming, crying, things being thrown around, the man cursing and threatening her life. It was horrible. We called the front desk and the police. I DO NOT IN ANY WAY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!
