My husband and I live in N.J. but had very early flights so we decided to stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at the airport. The room was lovely - we actually watched the Giants win that night! We left wake-up calls and took the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle was prompt and took only a few minutes to get to the terminal. We would definitely stay there again.

I was traveling alone this time and the Wyndham Garden Hotel was wonderful. The dining room meal Friday night was fine! The room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. The front desk gal was super friendly. The shuttle service took great care of me. I will definitely return. Senior AARP rates were most welcome.

This was our fourth time staying at the Wyndham Garden in Newark using the Park and Fly rate and they delivered once again.

We arrived on a Thursday evening and were able to go straight to our room as our friends had checked us in a few hours earlier. After getting settled in we made our way to the Starlight Restaurant and had a nice meal at a reasonable price. This is not the typical overpriced place that most Hotels have.

The next morning we made our way down for the Airport Shuttle which runs every 30 minutes from 12 PM-6AM and caught the 5 AM bus. From 6 AM-12PM they run it every 20 minutes. Be aware that sometimes it will get pretty full as they have Airline flight crew staying at the Hotel so make sure you get there plenty early so you can be assured there is room on it for your party. When we checked out we noticed that there was a different rate on our bill than we were promised when I made the reservation. The lady at the front desk said that the rate quoted was not right and said she could not do anything about it at this time. She also made a copy of my reservation and who I spoke to at the Hotel and said she would pass this on to the General Managers Office and would email me a new copy of my bill when this gets straightened out. I did not have time to argue about it and took her word that it would get taken care of. We left and were on our way and were dropped off at the Continental Terminal. Take note that you will usualy get dropped off at P4, the Airtrain platform which will take you to your terminal. I think that if you have Airline flight crew with you they will drop off at the individual terminal.

When we returned we made our way to the P4 Air Train platform and waited approx. 15 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Our group of 4 were the only ones on the return trip which was a pleasant surprise as in the past it was quite full. We made it back, tipped the driver and loaded our bags in our vehicle. Went back in to the desk and got our parking ticket validated and were on our way.

This hotel is not the easiest to get to but is well worth the price you pay for the room and parking. I would highly reccomend this place for a Park and Fly and will use again when leaving from EWR.

I never did get a new copy of my bill, however did notice a refund for one of our rooms that was credited to my credit card. I assumed I would get the discount on both rooms so I emailed the General Manager, Michael Percaccio. I recieved an email from him the next day and he stated that we would be getting the discount on both rooms. We checked and sure enough the discounted rate was credited within a day or two. I have to say that Mr. Percaccio is a class act and appreciate the way he does business. I am a return customer and will keep coming back to the Wyndham Garden in Newark because I feel that we have been treated wonderfully by him and his staff.

This is the best place to stay if you're flying out of Newark. It's a clean, lively hotel with nice rooms, bar & restaurant. I've stayed here twice & have not been disappointed. The employees are all friendly & seem to want you to enjoy your stay.
It looks like they are constantly working to upgrade & improve the hotel. The lobby looks all new & don't forget the free parking & shuttle that runs to the airport every 20 minutes.
My wife & I found the bed comfortable & the room clean. The prices in the bar & restaurant were very reasonable as well. We were happy we stayed here the night before our flight rather than get up @ 4am, drive almost 2 hours to the airport, park in a lot etc. Staying here is a much better start to a vacation. You get a great deal for you money.
I give the Wyndham Garden a big thumbs up!
