This hotel has been a favorite of mine for 5 years now, I travel to Newark/New york city often and insist on this hotel everytime, It was tricky finding the first time driving here but got the hang of it after a couple times, pool and rooms are always immaculate and staff couldnt be more friendly!!

We stayed overnight before our 12 nights cruise to the Caribbean islands. The hotel is very clean, our room was quiet and we had good night sleep. Morning breakfast was plenty. We parked the car there for 13 nights, the parking area behind the building is quite safe, several security cameras are mounted on the hotel building, the entrance and exit of the parking area are one way traffic. No restaurant in this particular hotel, but there is one in the Marriott hotel next door. We had dinner there the night we arrived the area.

Followed the driving instruction from Google map precisely, we had no trouble finding the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at SpringHill Suites the night before we left out of Newark for a two week vacation in the Yucatan. Unlike other people who had difficulty finding the hotel, we had no difficulty finding this hotel, which is right off the highway and near the Newark Liberty Airport. The room was clean and comfortable and the shuttle to the airport was prompt. We took advantage of the park-fly option because of the good rates and proximity to Newark Liberty International Airport.

What distinguishes SpringHill occurred during our return. The battery on our key fob had died and the car battery had died too. These events could have been a nightmare, but the staff at SpringHill helped preserve what was an outstanding vacation. The front desk manager went out of his way to help us locate a store that sold key batteries and was open, to obtain a ride to that store and then to jumpstart the car. For these reasons, we shall make SpringHill our hotel whenever we fly out of Newark.

Unfortunately, We coud not find this hotel after searching for 1.5 hours. We attended the Nets/Heat game at the Prudential center in Newark and booked this hotel as our overnight stay. I am a seasoned traveler and have flown and driven all over the US for my job. This was a family trip and it turned out to be a disaster. GPS told us an incorrect location. The directions we stopped to get from other Marriott properties were not helpful and confusing. Even the hotel itself tried to help us on the phone to no avail. It did not help that there was a road closed that the GPS instruted us to take, but this was terrible. We lost my Marriott points used to book this property and will never attempt this again. What a disappointment!
