My friends and I get together about once a year in New Brunswick, usually about 10-12 of us. Those of us living too far away to travel back home chose to stay in the Hyatt Regency due to walking distance to NJ Transit and the restaurant district. Well we just had a fabulous time! Erin checked me in and after going upstairs and realizing I got a room facing the opposite direction that I wanted to, she and her colleague switched me to a new room with no problems at all. My room with king size bed was spotless. I am one of those people that don't like to be reminded of how many other people have been in my hotel room before me when I travel so this is good. The glass tile in the shower is very modern looking and makes the space feel upgraded. Flat screen TV that swivels, very comfy bed and sofa as well. Drinks in the lounge was lovely, very relaxed and attractive space. I ordered room service the next morning and the coffee was the best hotel coffee I have had. The yogurt parfait was also delicious. Upon check out I encountered Dominique who was just as professional and charming as can be. She even checked the train schedule for me and offered me a taxi as the next train was in 6 minutes. I decided to walk and still made the train!
My one and only complaint is that there were a lot of room service trays in the halls including in front of the room I checked into and it remained there while we all went out to eat. Someone else's champagne and fruit from the night before outside my room into the following day? Still, that's my only gripe and I will happily return!
