Now Knights Inn (only sign this was a HJ was from a small plastic sign in breakfast area). This is a old hotel, but at least it isn't shady like some of the motor lodges down the highway. Exterior is dirty and shows signs of wear. Our room was clean but also old. Room had iron, weak hair dryer, basic amenities. Free breakfast was ok, but presentation was kind of sad - coffee, juice and (weird tasting) water were provided, along with some cereal, bagels and mini muffins. Staff were not hostile but not friendly either. We had a good night of rest and had bfast at McDonald's which was literally a minute's walk away. It's fine if you're not looking for extravagance and want a bargain without having to stay in a place where you fear for your life and possessions (there is a Wyndham across the highway which is larger and has a more standard hotel feel). I probably would not want to stay here for longer than a weekend.

This was a HoJo but is now Kights Inn. The room was ok - clean but not much room but worth the price. The bed was comfortable but the couch was small and uncomfortable. The breakfast was adequate - cereal, waffles, small muffin and bagels. Apparently they put it all out and once it is gone that is it - so if you want any you had better get there early.

My wife and I stay here several times a year for business and family visiting trips over 10 years or more. Good location, quiet, clean, smoke-free, comfortable, McD's is across the street to suppliment the breakfast bar. Easy access to Interstate and NJTP. Price has always been right, Staff always friendly and efficient. Only one case of rowdiness which they had police throw, out over the years.

Room had water damage on walls and smelled like smoke. Day one my room was not cleaned and I had to request service. Outside not kept up so had the feeling I was staying in a "seedy" motel. Evening staff not very friendly.
