I stayed here for business in the area but drove out to Philly every afternoon for sightseeing. It is a convenient 10 or so miles - at the most 20 minutes leaving around 2 pm and returning around 6 pm. It is a old hotel and has old doors and old furniture but everything else has been redone. Fresh paint, recent enough carpets, newer light fixtures, linens, tapestries, mattress was comfy and newer, etc. It has an old fashioned tv (ie not flat screen) but the picture was fine. Everything was clean, maid service did a good job, front desk was friendly. The breakfast left a lot to be desired and isn't as good as other TownePlace Suites that I've stayed at but you are in New Jersey - you should be going out for delicious bagels anyway. If you can get a better deal here than the other surrounding Marriott properties, just stay here. I didn't use the pool here but I wouldn't get that excited, it is old but if you are looking for pool facilities you should be staying somewhere a lot nicer anyway. And there are two buildings but once you check in if you have to stay in the other building, there really is little need to go back to the other building unless you want to use the computer, fitness center or get the continental breakfast.
