My husband and I stayed at the EbbTide a couple of years ago. The woman who runs it is nice, but co mes across as a bit gruff. The motel is close to the beach and clean. The regular rooms are very small. You basically open the door and jump onto the bed. Each room has a double bed, a refrigerator and TV. Rooms are paneled. There are plastic chairs to sit on outside the room. No view of the ocean. Motel is in a commercial area, and you can walk to stores and restaurants. Don't expect a pretty setting. We did get to look at the efficiencies. One was nice--just a big open room with two beds, table, etc. The other one has separate rooms, but looked like it hadn't been touched in fifty years. Nothing fancy, but my husband and I would go back again.

I haven't even been there but I called for availability and rates and whoever answered was really rude. I wouldn't go there for anything. I give very low points on hospitality and I haven't even been there yet. Yuck.
